TV host and presenter Anita Kapoor takes the Aperçu Tailored Silk-Blend Dress for a spin. How did she take its figure-hugging structure? “This is chic-with-a-kick tailoring. Little surprises at the shoulders and neckline make this shell-hued shift so much more than just a dress. The second-skin fit was a bit unforgiving at lunch, though!”

Tell us about yourself
I’m a travel and lifestyle television host, a radio presenter, writer, and frequent emcee. You last saw me co-host Lonely Planet “Stressbuster” on Channel News Asia (Singapore) in January 2011.

What’s your personal style? 
“I hate being held to a particular style, but I’d say Dash-Fash. I like edgy but easy pieces that I can throw together at a moment’s notice and doll up with statement accessories. I love good tailoring; not frou-frou, frustrating drapes and tucks or poor materials.”

What can’t you say no to? 
“Oh, so many things! But forced to choose … shoes and statement jewellery.”
